SIOMAI

SIOMAIFor the food lovers out there, here's how to cook my favorite siomai.

Ingredients:

3 packs molo wrapper

I kilo ground meat (fish and chicken meat can do)

1/3 kilo finely chopped garlic

1/3 kilo finely chopped onions

1/3 kilo ground or grated carrots

Salt to taste

Pepper to taste

3 packs magic sarap for seasoning

  1. mix ground meat, onion, garlic, salt, pepper and magic sarap in a basin or any clean container..
  2. prepare molo wrapper and separate them one by one.
  3. mold mixture like preparing meatballs to desired size and fit them to wrapper.
  4. wrap meat ball using molo wrapper and stick all corners of the wrapper. If wrapper won’t stick apply a little water or prepared paste from corn starch.
  5. prepare steamer and apply oil on the surface of the steamer so as siomai won’t stick.
  6. after wrapping all meatballs, place water into steamer water container and add salt.
  7. Cook or steam under moderate fire.
  8. cook until desired .
  9. after cooking slightly cool siomai then remove from steamer.
  10. prepare sauted garlic and add soy sauce or desired seasoning like worcestershire sauce or Kikkoman. It is suggested to sauted finely chopped garlic with butter.

Makes more than a hundred siomai balls
